For piano solo recordings the perfect production method
To record with the Bösendorfer SE-player-system (which has been modernized with the actual CEUS system), then edit single mistakes directly in the software WITHOUT making a single cut as known in tape recording, and then put a microphone in front of the piano and record gives wonderful features: The Sound of the piano is reproduced electro-mechanically and thus acoustically with an incredible perfection.
The piano is freshly tuned, there are no disturbing sounds of the pinaist or the audience.
